Load a DD84 File Without Buying Your Own HP Tuners Interface

This DD84 loaner kit is for customers with an approved stock-ECM calibration file order or remote tuning order who need compatible HP Tuners hardware shipped to them for reading, licensing, flashing and datalogging supported vehicles.

Use this kit for

• Reading the original stock ECM file before DD84 prepares a matched pre-made/base calibration.
• Flashing an approved DD84 file to the same supported vehicle/controller.
• Required verification datalogging after the file is installed.
• Approved remote tuning workflows.

Price Breakdown

• $550 refundable equipment security deposit
• $39 nonrefundable loaner handling / administration fee
• Round-trip shipping is charged separately where applicable.
• HP Tuners credits and calibration/tuning services are sold separately.

Compatibility Gate

Do not purchase until DD84 confirms your vehicle/controller is supported for the intended loaner workflow. Some vehicles require a specific interface generation, unlock, specialty access cable or other controller service.

Customer Workflow

1. Send your vehicle details through the DD84 intake form and identify the ECM-family calibration service you need.
2. DD84 confirms the controller, operating system, hardware requirements, kit availability and scheduling. Purchase the approved service and kit only after that review.
3. The loaner kit is assigned and shipped for the approved vehicle only.
4. Customer reads and saves the original file and sends it to DD84 when required.
5. DD84 supplies the matched calibration/file-delivery instructions.
6. Customer licenses the supported controller when prompted and writes the file using the specified method.
7. Customer performs the requested verification log.
8. Customer returns the complete loaner kit using the supplied return process.

Return Control

• Equipment remains the property of Down Dirty 84 LLC at all times.
• The kit is assigned to the customer and approved vehicle only.
• Customer must tender the kit to the designated return carrier within 48 hours after DD84 marks the file-install/remote-tune workflow complete, unless DD84 approves an extension in writing.
• Return is considered initiated when the carrier records an acceptance scan.
• Use the supplied/prepaid return process and retain the original shipping package.

Deposit Refund

After the complete kit is returned to DD84 and passes inspection, the $550 security-deposit portion is eligible to be refunded to the original payment method. Missing, materially damaged or unreturned equipment may reduce the refundable amount by documented repair or replacement costs as permitted by the applicable equipment-loan agreement and law.
