MATCHED CALIBRATION SERVICE

Match the Ford file to its controller and strategy.

Starting calibration for supported Copperhead/Tricore applications. Original read and exact controller identification are required.

Controller-matched starting calibration for supported Ford applications using Copperhead or supported Tricore ECM families.

Ford strategy and controller identification must be verified before delivery. DD84 uses the customer's original read and exact controller/strategy information so the file is not treated as a generic cross-vehicle flash.

Required after checkout

  • Year, make, model and VIN
  • Engine and transmission
  • Fuel type and complete modification list
  • Original HP Tuners .hpt read
  • Controller family and strategy/OS information
  • Current DTCs

Installation

  1. Install the current VCM Suite and connect an HP Tuners interface supported for your exact Ford application.
  2. Read and save the original vehicle file before programming.
  3. Verify that the delivered DD84 file references your exact order/controller/strategy.
  4. Use stable battery support and follow key ON / engine OFF programming instructions.
  5. License the vehicle/controller when prompted for HP Tuners credits.
  6. Use only the DD84-specified write method.
  7. After programming, complete the required ignition cycle, scan DTCs and perform a verification datalog before hard driving.

Important: some Ford controller generations require a newer HP Tuners interface or application-specific access steps. DD84 confirms that before file release. No emissions-system defeat is included.
